“I think good qualities in high school students are a good work ethic and ambition,” Suit said. Suit is the quarterback on the varsity football team, and a member of the Political Science, Frisbee, Jets, Beta and Environmental club. He also participated in Special Olympics, Stop Hunger Now and enjoys volunteering at the Snow Hill Museum.
“Although it wasn’t easy getting there, by taking the right classes and working hard, I got to where I am now” Suit said.
Suit’s mentors during his four years of high school were his parents.
Suit’s AP Calculus teacher, Gina Brann, said “Brandon is an outstanding math student.  Brandon took my AP Calculus class as a junior and did a great job on the AP exam last May.  Brandon is taking the higher level AP Calculus class this year on-line.  I am proud of how he has pushed himself academically.  Brandon is a fine young man and I am confident that he will represent GC well as our Morehead candidate!”

“To get where I am today it has taken a lot of hard work and required me to sacrifice my social life,” Whitson jokes.

“In ten years, I see myself on the way to becoming a politician,” says Whitson.
